Lords and Ladies, welcome to the official Jeffrey Dean Foster website. Hell has frozen over, stars are falling from the sky, and our president has learned to read.
Actually none of that is true but the new Jeffrey Dean Foster solo cd “Million Star Hotel” is finally a reality and not just a cruel rumor. It is available right now. Click here to buy the CD. LISTEN UP! We hope you all are having a wonderful holiday. Thanks to everyone who came out to a show, bought a record or just made our world a better place to live this year. We hope to see you again soon in 2008. Our Third Annual Million Star Hotel benefit was a rousing success, down to the late night tuning-impaired run through of The Rolling Stone’s “Happy”. Sara’s red collars were Flying-Nun like, Andy Mabe’s toy soldier outfit was festively distracting and Brian’s sweater and shirt combo was as no-nonsense as his drumming. Don Dixon showed us all how to write, sing and perform popular music. We were very grateful to have him drive down from his Ohio home for the show. You all helped raise some money and awareness for the Shalom Project http://www.gbgm-umc.org/greenstreet/the_community/index.html and we thank-you for that. The next night found Mr. Foster merrily playing guitar in Regina Hexaphone at their Tenth Anniversary party at the Artscenter in Carrboro. Bird of Prey, Sara Bell is the principle singer and writer for the Hexaphone and their latest record “Into Your Sleeping Heart” is as beautiful as they come. http://www.myspace.com/reginahexaphone It was great to see old friends Dana and Karen Kletter weave their spell with Ecki Heinz and Ash Bowie churning up the waters. Stay tuned for more Regina Hexaphone/Jeffrey Dean Foster happenings in 2008. “If you spend time chasing one album this year make it “Million Star Hotel”: an hour of magic from North Carolina’s Jeffrey Dean Foster. Sprawling and audacious, almost dazzlingly ambitious, Jeffrey Dean Foster’s Million Star Hotel is the kind of record with depth, soul, and a kind of spiritual quality that they just don’t make anymore. Stunningly beautiful…undeniably great. Luke Torn POP CULTURE PRESS

“million star hotel” is slang for being homeless, for not having a roof over one’s head. Also the name of the new Jeffrey Dean Foster solo CD. We’ll be back in touch soon. Until then have a Happy New Year and keep those cards and letters coming.
best wishes, Jackie Spry
